Many Britons will be staying at home over the Christmas period to spend time with family and friends nearby.

Leading travel agency company TUI has recommended a fabulous destination in Europe which provides all three – Gran Canaria.

TUI also described Gran Canaria as a “world favourite” holiday choice. The travel agency stated: “As far as holiday destinations go, Gran Canaria is part of the world’s vintage collection.
