Atlas Ocean Voyages is building out its executive team, naming new marketing, guest services and sales executives as it works to establish itself the cruise market.
The company appointed Colleen Rodriguez as vice president of marketing; Jacqueline Leyva as senior director of guest services, reservations and air-sea; and Robert Cao as senior director of charters and incentives.
Oya Bekisoglu was named regional sales director of the Central U.S., and Anthony Iozzia was also named regional sales director of the Northeast, New England and Eastern Canada. Both are joining a field sales team that is thus far focused on North America, particularly the Eastern U.S. and Canada.
“We are responding to our rapid growth by bringing on these new Atlas executives and their extensive experiences in small-ship, luxury cruising sector,” said president Alberto Aliberti. “Each will play a critical role in promoting and supporting our valued travel partners, as well as augment Atlas’ administration and U.S.-based operations.”
Atlas Ocean Voyages launched its first ship last summer, the 196-passenger World Navigator, but it has major expansion plans within its sights: The World Traveller and World Seeker are expected to launch this year, with two more vessels to follow in 2023.
