The Castell Son Claret, a 41-room Leading Hotels of the World property on the Balearic island of Mallorca, unveiled four new garden suites, a new garden service dining option and Sa Clastra, an alfresco gourmet restaurant.
Each of the new 250-square-foot garden suites features a midcentury design style and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Unesco-protected Tramuntana mountain range near the Castell estate.
Originally a 19th-century castle, the property is set within a 326-acre country estate, offering plenty of room for guests to sample garden service dining, which enables room service, including traditional paella, to be delivered to locations in private areas on the grounds and in the gardens.
Sa Clastra, overseen by Mallorcan chef Jordi Canto, is located in the property’s large central patio and features fine dining in the slow food tradition with local ingredients.
Rates, which are fully commissionable, begin at $652 per night, double, including daily breakfast, tax and service.
