Faern, a collection of alpine resorts in Switzerland, is set to open two new ski-in/ski-out properties, Faern Crans-Montana Valaisia and Faern Arosa Altein, this December.
Faern Crans-Montana Valaisia is located two hours from Geneva and will offer such winter activities as skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. In summer, guests can go hiking, mountain biking, parachuting and golfing.
The property will feature 134 rooms and suites, many with balconies overlooking the Swiss mountains; an all-day a la carte restaurant, Eteila Brasserie, specialising in local cuisine and helmed by executive chef Lionel Mathier; Sewi Bar & Social Club; and in summer, the Sewi Pool Kitchen.
Other amenities include the resort spa, with a heated indoor pool, steam room, sauna, relaxation room and spa treatments.
Kids under 6 stay free, and dogs are welcome.
Faern Arosa Altein
The 126-room Faern Arosa Altein is located in the Graubunden National Park and will offer access to miles of downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and sledding, as well as biking, hiking, tennis, an outdoor pool, mini golf, table tennis and e-bike rentals.
The property will feature a luxury spa and a rooftop bar and restaurant offering unparalleled views of the Swiss Alps.
Zus Brasserie will serve breakfast and dinner; Alchemilla Parlour will feature drinks and small plates; and the Alpensand Panoramic Social Club, overseen by executive chef Daniel Manzoni, will serve an a la carte menu of daily specials and sharing plates and will feature curated DJ sets.
The wellness area will offer a heated indoor pool with water rapids, massage and neck showers; as well as a steam room; a flow river; two saunas; a relaxation room; infrared cabin; a fitness room; and massage services.
Both properties will feature communal areas, including game rooms and a cinema room. The starting rates at both properties start at about $210 per night, including breakfast.
