Hornblower Group, the parent company of American Queen Steamboat Co., Victory Cruises and the newly rebranded City Experiences brand of day cruise and tour companies, has added Niagara Jet Adventures to its growing portfolio.

The company announced Thursday that City Experiences had acquired the company, which offers whitewater jet boat trips in the Niagara Gorge.

“As our portfolio of global experiences continues to expand, we are thrilled to include Niagara Jets’ whitewater adventures, providing our guests with the best and most unique products possible,” said Mory DiMaurizio, COO of City Cruises, Canada, a division of City Experiences. “This one-of-of a-kind offering fits uniquely within our portfolio of offerings and solidifies our continued goal to become the world’s leader in experiences and transportation.”

It is just the latest in a series of recent acquisitions by the Hornblower Group, including the purchase of ShoreTrips, a Milwaukee-based cruise excursion provider that had shuttered during the pandemic owing nearly $5 million in customer refunds.
