Grand Wailea welcomes a new Italian restaurant

A new oceanfront restaurant has opened at the Grand Wailea in the former dining space of Bistro Molokini. Named after the green mineral, Olivine is an Italian restaurant with a menu of sandwiches, pizzas and entrees including spaghetti pomodoro, chicken parmigiana and steak.

The menu also features handmade pastas by chef Michele di Bari of Maui’s Sale Pepe and incorporates local produce and seafood through aquaculture operation Blue Ocean Mariculture.

“We are incredibly excited to share this new dining experience with our guests,” said JP Oliver, managing director of Grand Wailea, in a press release. “The resort’s propertywide refresh has given us the opportunity to reimagine the Grand Wailea experience, and Olivine is a perfect example of how that will manifest in our food and beverage programming.”
