Chicago’s Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel has reopened, following a year-long Covid-related closure.
The 1,641-room property, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year, underwent $2.2 million in renovations during the downtime. Chief among the hotel’s updates is a new indoor pool, which sits below a vaulted, glass ceiling.
Additionally, the hotel has debuted a grab-and-go food and beverage concept called Lockwood Express, which offers a menu of pastries, coffee, warm meals, cocktails and more.
The Palmer House is commemorating its reopening with several special booking offers. The Bertha Palmer Experience long-term stay package, which starts at $150,000 per month and includes a stay in the Penthouse Suite, black car service, $150 in daily dining and cocktail credits, a dedicated butler and more. The $250-per-night Sesquicentennial Spa-aah package will be offered through July to the hotel’s first 150 guests and includes a 150-minute spa treatment.
Reopening rates at the Palmer House start at $189 per night.
