An update to the entry requirements for the Turks and Caicos now requires all travelers to present a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR, NAA, RNA or antigen test within three days of arrival, effective July 28.

The test must be administered by a medical laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

Antibody tests and results from home-based test kits will not be accepted.

The previous requirement called for the test to be taken within five days of arrival and the only test accepted by the destination at that time was the RT-PCR test. 

Travelers must also submit proof of medical/travel insurance that covers medical evacuation (insurance companies that provide the prerequisite insurance are available on the TCI Assured portal) and a completed health screening questionnaire in addition to the test result. These must be uploaded to the portal in advance of arrival.

Once uploaded, the documents will be verified and a TCI Assured certification issued, which must be presented at time of check-in. 

The requirements are the same for vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers.
