UK destinations have made it once again in a best list. In a top 50 list of the bucket list destinations for families in Europe, the UK ranked five time.
FatherMag.com ranked 50 destinations by looking at the Google reviews of over 250 family-friendly attractions in Europe.
Included in the list are amusement parks, water parks, family-friendly thermal baths, zoos, aquariums, beaches and natural parks with a Google average of at least 4.2.
The destinations’ Google score was not the only thing looked at, with the number of reviews also counting to make the list fairer.
In the UK, five destinations made the list, and all had amazing scores.

At 18, the Lake District National Park had a score of 4.9.
The staycation staple and beauty spot is loved by Britons and international visitors alike.

At number 32, another British National Park makes its entrance.
The first national park to be established in 1951, the Peak District National Park has a score of 4.8.
It was included on the list for its fantastic outdoorsy activities, from camping and hiking to cycling and lakeside fun.
Chester Zoo is just below the Peak District at number 33, with an average score of 4.7.
One of the country’s biggest zoo and a favourite with children, Chester Zoo is the second most visited attractions in Britain, after Kew Gardens.

It is noted for being one of the best zoos in Europe and the incredible number of animals (35,000!) families can see when visiting.
Staffordshire’s Alton Towers pops up at number 37.
The theme park and resort is a water park, theme park, spa, mini golf and resort all in one.
Families will have plenty to do and see at Alton Towers, with FatherMag commenting on the “great experience”.

The UK National Parks are fantastic destinations for families, and another one made the list at number 38, this time in Wales.
With a score of 4.9, Snowdonia should have been further up in the list, but it has less reviews than some of the other destinations in the ranking.
The “fantastic experience for everyone” has long been a favourite staycation destination for Britons.
The last UK location on the best destinations for families list is Brighton Palace Pier, with a score of 4.4 and coming up at number 48.
Brighton Palace Pier is noted for being a fantastic location for children who can “climb, swirl, fly, enjoy VR rides, drive around, spin and leap”.
