The most affordable cities for a restaurant trip have been named. Maxima Kitchen Equipment looked at the cheapest and most expensive UK cities for Britons to treat themselves to a meal.
Cardiff has been named the cheapest city to get a meal out.
It only cost an average of £29.80 for two to dine out in the Welsh capital.
The only city with an average under £30 for two, Cardiff was the best city to go out to a restaurant.
According to Tripadvisor, Pasture Cardiff was one of the best restaurants in the city.

Mayuskita wrote: “Culinary gem in Cardiff. Quality of the ingredients is superb and cooking art divine.”
Redheadbaker said: “Hands down one of the best meals I have ever had.”
Coming up in second place was Sheffield.
It was followed by Coventry, Poole and Swansea to make up the top five.
At the other end of the spectrum the study also looked at the most expensive cities to eat out.
Unsurprisingly, London came top.
The average cost of a meal for two in London came up to £45.
Even the price of an average cost meal an inexpensive restaurant was more than the Cardiff average, at £30 for two.
The second most expensive city to eat out was Edinburgh.
This was followed by Plymouth, York and Luton.
