A sweet dad booked himself onto a Christmas Eve flight just so he could spend time with his daughter – and it seems he's done so many times in her career.
Mike Levy was sat next to devoted father Hal Vaughan who opened up about the unusual motivations he had for taking the holiday time flight.
The dad had booked himself onto six flights in total so daughter Pierce Vaughan was with her loved ones during the festive season.

Pierce was scheduled to work as a flight attendant on the Delta aircraft over the Christmas season, meaning she'd miss the festivities with the rest of her family, reports the Mirror.
Nobody wants to spend the holidays working, but to ensure people can get away to see their loved ones flight attendants often pull the Christmas shift.
Mike was blown away by the dad's loving gesture for his daughter and plastered it on social media.
“I had the pleasure of sitting next to Hal on my flight back home,” Mike said in the post that has been shared more than 27,000 times.
“His daughter Pierce was our flight attendant who had to work over Christmas. Hal decided he would spend the holiday with her.
"So, he is flying on each of her flights today and tomorrow around the country to spend time with his daughter for Christmas.
“What a fantastic father! Wish you both a very Merry Christmas!”
Included in the post – which was first made in 2018 but has been re-circulated this Christmas – was a sweet photo of Mike and Hal, as well as Pierce in her uniform.
Happily for the dad and daughter, Pierce is not working this Christmas for the first time ever.
So, she'll get to celebrate with her family on the ground eating plenty of delicious festive treats.
"I am still a flight attendant but I'm actually (for the first time!) off for Christmas," Pierce told Fox.
"I'm so very grateful to have the chance to spend quality time with both of my parents in south Mississippi this month."
Her dad added: "I'm happy in the air or on the ground if I'm with my daughter."
Back in 2018 Pierce shared Levy's post and opened up about her dad’s trip, writing: “Look ma we made it.
“A special thanks to all of the patient, wonderful gate agents around the country and my perfect crew.
"He made it on every flight and even got first class RSW-DTW (Christmas miracle).
“Shoutout to Mike Levy for being a great first class passenger and helping us to understand how cool this actually is!”
That's certainly one way to be together on December 25… even if you have to work.
