A body positive influencer has spoken up about her road to confidence – and why anyone has a bikini body worth celebrating.
Elloise Mary, 24, from Sydney, Australia, lives surrounded by beautiful beaches and often posts snaps of herself in her favourite swimwear and sports gear at home and on holiday.
Her fans certainly love the Instagram model’s tropical snaps and her encouraging opinions on loving yourself – she even has a whopping 31,400 followers on her @elloise_fit page.

But, Elloise hasn’t always been so confident with her looks and speaks out about learning to love her body type.
And, she even offered her advice to those who are fearful of baring their bods at the beach or on holiday.
Speaking to Daily Star, Elloise said: “I certainly used to feel a lot less confident in summer!
“I’ve learned over the years that life is too short to avoid doing the things that you love, just because of the way that you view your body. I personally love going to the beach, but used to avoid it as I was scared of others judging me.
“Think about how often you actively judge someone’s appearance at the beach— never, right? So why believe that others will judge you?
“More importantly, why does it matter if someone has opinions of your body? As long as you are having a good time, that’s all that matters.”
And, Elloise even has a mantra she lives by.
The influencer commented: “I am more than just my body, which is so true.
"You love your friends and family because of their personalities and connections, not their looks. Therefore, you are also more than just your body.”
If you’re worried about wearing skimpy swimwear and are trying to get the nerve to head to the coast, Elloise recommended going with some pals.
She explained: “Go with a group of supportive friends, as it’s easier to face your fears with people that will care for you.
“Get a swimsuit that you feel confident in – whether it be the pattern that you love, or the style, it’ll make your experience more enjoyable.
“Start off at a less busy beach, or at a quieter time of the day and slowly build your way up to a busier beach – you’ll soon realise that wearing a swimsuit isn’t a negative experience!
“Also, give yourself a pep talk before going – it may sound silly, but you’ll naturally feel more comfortable once saying it out loud. Lastly, fake it till you make it! If you act confident, no one will question you.”
While the influencer is happy to post herself wearing bikinis and crop tops on social media, Elloise admits that even she sometimes gets less confident.
She told us: “I certainly still have those days! When I do have those days, I will wear the swimsuit that’s led me feel my absolute best.
“I will also talk to myself in the mirror and tell myself that I am beautiful and I am worthy! Most importantly, I focus on the task at hand, which is actually going to and enjoying the beach.
“Wearing a swimsuit is such a small portion of that activity! I focus on the warmth of the sun, the coolness of the water, the sounds and just my overall enjoyment, rather than what I’m wearing.”
Luckily, the comments from her fans keep Elloise on a high.
She explained: “Comments are mostly supportive! My body type, whilst super common, isn’t deemed ‘perfect’ by societal standards.
“By posting pictures/videos in a bikini, my community feel inspired to do the same.
“This is why I put myself out there – to encourage others to love their body, no matter what it looks like! I encourage others to also put themselves out there – you’d be surprised at how kind others will be!”
The blonde bombshell even had some advice for choosing your knockout swimwear.
Elloise said: “I love wearing bikinis with supportive cups! My favourite brand at the moment is Staple Swim – it’s a local Australian company that’s made for women of all shapes and sizes.”
