Already dreaming of next year’s holiday? If a staycation is top of the bucket list, there are a few gorgeous spots to explore in the UK.
According to research from home2go.uk there are several spots across the UK that have soared in popularity over the last year.
One of this year’s most in demand staycation destinations is Glenridding, a pretty village on the shores of Lake Ullswater.
It’s a popular destination for hikers, many of whom stay in the village to attempt to scale Helvellyn, England’s third-highest mountain.
Tourists who are more into the water than hiking might prefer to join a boat trip on Lake Ullswater to see some of the region’s best sites.
