From people reportedly trying to open cabin doors to a woman accused of biting a fellow passenger, you wouldn't want to be seated next to this lot….

    Open door drama

Recently, a 'British boxer' was accused of trying to break open a plane door during a Ryanair flight.

On June 30, a man jumped up from his seat moments before the London-bound plane took off from Croatia.

The 27-year-old passenger, who has not yet been named, reportedly began ranting wildly and threw his sunglasses off before pointing at another passenger.

Footage taken by others on the flight showed him leaping into the aisle, before brushing past a female flight attendant and trying to force his way through the plane screaming: “Open the door, open the door!”

Two men were then seen grappling with the passenger to stop him from opening the door.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

    Watching hardcore porn

A United Airlines business class passenger was caught watching hardcore pornography with the sound on during a lengthy flight.

And despite being told to stop by a flight attendant, he allegedly continued watching the explicit clip.

An unnamed fellow passenger took to Twitter to call out the man for his not-safe-for-work viewing material, firing a question over to the airline.

She asked them whether there were "consequences for watching porn on your planes?".

A United Airlines representative said they were looking into the issue.

    Suffocation fear

Asiana Airlines passengers were left clinging on for their lives after a man swung open an exit door mid-flight.

The 33-year-old passenger lifted the lever and opened the emergency exit door when the Airbus 321 plane was still landing because he was feeling ‘suffocated’.

It was about seven minutes before landing, that the man who was sitting near the emergency exit row, lifted the lever and opened the door.

Terrifying footage shows passengers gripping onto their seats in the terrifying scene as the plane descended towards the South Korean city of Daegu earlier this year.

When the door of the plane opened suddenly air billowed through the cabin – and witnesses said children were petrified, shaking and crying with fear.

The man told police he felt stressed after losing his job – but now faces ten years in prison for opening the plane door when the aircraft was still 650ft above the ground.

    Shouting at flight attendants

A holidaymaker went viral after his explosive outburst on a US airline was filmed and posted on TikTok.

The man was filmed shouting and swearing at flight attendants because a baby on the plane had been crying for "45 minutes".

The outraged bloke was screaming across the plane demanding that the child’s parents make the infant "shut up", reports the Mirror.

The flight eventually landed in Orlando Airport and the bloke could be seen arguing with police.

A Southwest Airlines spokesperson said: "We do not have details on this flight to share but commend our flight crew for their professionalism and offer our apologies to the other customers onboard."

    Passenger lassoed

Terrified Jeju Airlines staff were forced to lasso an erratic passenger who tried to open a door mid-flight.

A 19-year-old Korean man was on a four-hour flight from Cebu in the Philippines to Seoul, South Korea, when he began “acting strangely”.

When he began exhibiting “abnormal behaviour”, concerned aircrew decided to move the man to a seat nearer to the front of the aircraft so that they could keep an eye on him.

Shortly after being re-seated, he suddenly ran towards the emergency door and tried to open it, CNN reports.

Thankfully, he was “immediately subdued by the crew, who used a lasso rope and tie wraps to keep him controlled for the rest of the flight,” a Jeju Airlines official said.

After the plane landed in Seoul, the rogue passenger was arrested and on charges of violating the Aviation Security Act.

    Woman bit man's leg

Back in 2022, police said a passenger caused chaos on her Southwest Airlines plane after she tried to open the door at 37,000 feet before biting a bloke who tried to stop her.

Elom Agbegninou, 34, was accused of locking her jaw around the thigh of her victim who, after he managed to pry her teeth off his leg, had to be given antibiotics and an injection to prevent hepatitis.

Despite his injuries, he succeeded in wresting Elom to the ground after he overheard frantic airline crew saying “she’s trying to open the door”.

According to documents from the US District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, she even started to bang her head on the plane floor, shouting that Jesus had ordered her to fly to Ohio and told her to open the door.

Federal officials were waiting at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Arkansas, where pilots had to land after being forced to change their course mid-flight.

She reportedly admitted to the police that she hadn't taken a flight in a while and "normally would not have done those things" but was "very anxious".

    Drunk and disorderly

A woman was escorted off a flight by five police officers for being intoxicated and mistreating staff.

Erica Jayne Carlson became the 'internet's no.1 star' when a video of her being booted off a Jetstar flight at Gold Coast earlier this year went viral.

As soon as the officers escorted her to the exit, the plane broke into song as passengers started singing the tune of Steam's 1969 hit 'Na Na Hey Hey'.

Carlson appeared at Southport Magistrates' Court and pleaded guilty to a charge of behaving in an offensive or disorderly manner on an aircraft.

    Cockpit breach fears

Pilots were forced to make an emergency landing after an "unruly woman" in first class allegedly tried to enter the plane's cockpit.

The flight from Jacksonville, Florida, to Washington DC, was forced to touch down in North Carolina "due to a security concern involving an unruly customer".

According to reports, the American Airlines passenger was upset at not being served a drink and the Federal Aviation Administration said she charged at the cockpit door.

The Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification, said Tiffany Miles, 36, was arrested on a misdemeanour charge and was released on bond.

    Sneezing into a blanket

A plane passenger was left horrified after witnessing a man sneeze into a blanket.

The incident occurred on a Qatar Airways flight from Qatar to Washington DC, US.

In the video, which was uploaded to Twitter, a man sitting in the neighbouring aisle is seen blowing his nose into the blanket before placing it back on his lap.

The Twitter user who uploaded the clip dubbed the man’s actions “dirty” and “filthy”.
