A Grammy nominee has revealed that cabin crew nearly removed her from a flight after she persisted in trying to sing her new song in the plane.
Bobbi Storm shared a clip of the incident on Instagram, in which she can initially be seen talking to a flight attendant. The staff member repeatedly tells her to sit down and be quiet, and she obliges although she argues she's not "a disturbance" because the seat belt sign is off.
Once back in her seat, Bobbi announces to the passengers around her that she has just found out she has been nominated for two Grammys, at which point some of her fellow travellers applaud, with one asking for her name. In the meantime, the member of cabin crew can be seen approaching Bobbi's seat.

Bobbi then goes on to say her song is out, before adding: "I want to share this with you guys. I wanted to do it when I first got on the plane but I was like, you know, I haven't done this in a while, I've gotten to the next step."
Before she can finish, the flight attendant interrupts and begins to repeatedly ask her if she is going to be quiet, before telling her that if she can't then she will "not be taking this flight". At one point as he asks her the question, Bobbi turns to her fellow passengers and asks what they think, although it doesn't appear that anyone replies.
Ultimately she agrees to stay quiet, but when he walks away, she turns to her surrounding passengers and tells them she will sing it "on the low for the people in the back". She then bursts into song.
In a follow-up video, Bobbi confirmed that Delta Airlines had reached out to her, adding that she hadn't posted the first clip with the aim to get the cabin crew member in trouble.
However, commenters were not on her side. Instead, she's faced backlash with people slamming the "embarrassing" behaviour and calling her "rude" and "entitled", as well as saying it gave them "second hand embarrassment".
"This is one of the most egotistical things I’ve ever seen," one person wrote. "You think because you’re Grammy nominated that rules don’t apply to you and the plane is your stage? Work on that ego sis."
Another added: "You were completely in the wrong, and I hope you ended up on the no fly list."
A third wrote: "This is annoying, tacky, and out of place. She’s in the wrong."
Another angered commenter wrote: "Next time you should get yourself a private jet, so you can sing to yourself as loud as you want! But this right here is a public plane, and you wanting to disturb folks peace, with your nonsense is very selfish."
A spokesperson for Delta Airlines told the Daily Star: "Delta has been in contact with this customer. For the safety of our customers and crew, it's always important to follow crew instructions."
