“If you’re a fan of the sun, Nice benefits from 2,500 average hours of sunshine a year, and even stays warm well into the late autumn too.”
Expats can stroll along the city’s promenade or wander the streets of the Old Town. It’s easy to explore on foot and the city has been crowned one of Europe’s most walkable.
While many city centre residents live in apartments, expats will be able to get more for their money living outside the centre.
Of course, Nice is the birthplace of the Salade Nicoise, the ideal meal to enjoy during hot weather. Even better, get a Pan Bagnat, where the salad is served inside bread.
