When flying, it’s important to respect those around you – from the pilot and cabin crew to other passengers.
After all, if you annoy a flight attendant you might be labelled a Phillip – a code name you don't want to get.
If that happens and you’re dubbed annoying they may even do things to irritate you.

For example, one stewardess admitted she kept turning off a passenger's in-flight entertainment because they were rude.
Plus, holidaymakers who annoy those sitting around them might find themselves shamed on social media.
So, what’s the number one thing you should avoid doing when flying?
Nicky Kelvin, UK travel expert at The Points Guy, said his one golden plane etiquette rule is to leave your plane seat up at key points.
He shared the tip on the @thepointsguy TikTok account, and it's now been seen by more than 183,000 people.
He commented: "Don't recline your seat during meal times.
“It's harder to eat your meal in economy with limited space if the person in front of you is reclined.
“Some cabin crew will instruct passengers to raise their seats during meal times, but regardless, you should do it out of respect to the person behind you."
He’s not the only person to point out that reclining is a faux pas, but many say you shouldn’t recline at all during your flight.
A pair of brothers shared their annoyance at the "most reclined seat in history of aviation" on their recent flight.
The Pointer Bros, who share viral videos on TikTok, @thepointerbroithers_, racked up more than 4million views on their post.
Jokingly, the brothers held up a red card such as those handed out by football referees to send a player off the pitch.
Later on, the reclined chair meant that the brother sitting behind him could not eat properly.
While his tray was down for the in-flight meal it stuck into his stomach due to the angle of the chair.
In the comments people said they thought it was disrespectful to put your seat back.
One TikTok poster said: “Those seats should just not recline, it’s cramped enough and I already don’t have leg room.”
A second added: “Out of respect for the person behind me, I never recline.”
While a third wrote: “As a tall person when someone reclines it makes me wanna repeatedly kick their seat.”
