Palazzo Marini, a historic building centrally located in Rome’s Piazza San Silvestro, is undergoing redevelopment and will be reborn as a Four Seasons hotel.
The property, which was recently purchased by real estate group Fort Partners Puerto Rico LLC for about $168 million, will be redeveloped in a way that pays “homage to its history while elevating it with a contemporary aesthetic.”
According to Fort Partners, additional details on the project will be announced at a later date.
Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts’ Italian portfolio currently includes properties in Florence, Milan and Sicily. Also, Four Seasons also will operate a beachfront resort in Puglia and will assume management of Hotel Danieli in Venice in 2025.
