American Marketing Group rolls out curriculum for new travel advisors: Travel Weekly

American Marketing Group has officially launched Kore, a training program designed for new travel advisors.

The online curriculum has 16 modules, three digital textbooks and two workbooks. There are also extensive online videos for advisors. It costs $895.

Kore covers several topics, including an overview of the industry, financials, industry players and geography. It also focuses on customer service, qualifying clients and selling.

According to American Marketing Group, Kore will take students about 14 to 18 weeks to complete. There are quizzes along the way. At the end, they will take a proctored Travel Agent Proficiency exam, and they will be eligible for credits toward certification from the Travel Institute.

Discounts are provided for member agencies of Travelsavers and NEST, which are American Marketing Group companies. Select advisors from both entities have been beta-testing Kore since late 2021.
