{"id":73590,"date":"2021-01-14T05:16:38","date_gmt":"2021-01-14T05:16:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/travelbaseonline.com\/?p=73590"},"modified":"2021-01-14T05:16:38","modified_gmt":"2021-01-14T05:16:38","slug":"egyptair-targets-doha-as-north-african-nation-opens-airspace-to-qatar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travelbaseonline.com\/transport\/egyptair-targets-doha-as-north-african-nation-opens-airspace-to-qatar\/","title":{"rendered":"EgyptAir targets Doha as North African nation opens airspace to Qatar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nEgypt&#8217;s airspace and flights were the last pieces in the jigsaw with the three Gulf nations already moving to open up aviation routes to Qatar since the signing of the AlUla peace accord.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arabianbusiness.com\/public\/images\/2019\/11\/14\/EgyptAir-A220-300.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>EgyptAir is set to fly to Doha after the AlUla Accord.<\/p>\n<p>EgyptAir will resume flights to Qatar after the three-year rift between Doha and Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain ended last week.\n<\/p>\n<p>The carrier plans a daily flight to Qatar and may add a second if there\u2019s demand, EgyptAir Holding Company\u2019s chairman, Roshdy Zakaria, said Tuesday by text message.
