Cruises may be off the cards for many Britons for the rest of this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start planning for future travels. River Cruise company Emerald Waterways is inviting holidaymakers to plan ahead for 2022, with its latest holiday offering.
According to the cruise line, they were pushed to open bookings earlier than planned due to “rising demand”.
Though holidays are not for some time, the cruise line is vowing that guests will be free to book “with confidence” and “flexibility”, which is likely a welcome relief in these uncertain times.
Customers who book before 31 October 2020 and guests can enjoy savings of up to £1,000 per couple, plus a complimentary Premium Drinks Package, entitling guests to unlimited on board drinks.
New bookings paid in full by 31 October 2021 will also enjoy an additional Early Payment Discount of £125 per person.
Destinations include an eight-day Portuguese sailing on the river Douro, eight-days sailing along the Rhine & Moselle in Germany, and an eight-day adventure spanning Holland and Belgium.
The “Secrets of the Douro” cruise will focus closely on local eats, including a cooking demonstration and port lesson onboard.
The river cruise is a round trip from Porto and is bookable from £1,920 per person on the Emerald Radiance Star-Ship.
Other highlights include canoeing in Pocinho, a visit to Quinta do Tedo, with a Port tasting and a music performance in Salamanca.
The cruise departs November 5, 2022.
