Chef Nelly Robinson

Malaysia Airlines has previously collaborated with renowned Chefs including Diana Chan, Chef Masami Okamoto and Chefs Loy, Tan & Otto. Adding to the list is internationally esteemed Chef Nelly Robinson forming a partnership that will set taste buds tingling mid-air.

With Chef Nelly’s creative vision and the quality produce Australia has to offer, Business Class customers can now indulge in a beef dish that is slow cooked for 24 hours and then pressed. “It will melt in your mouth and is served with glazed potato, onion, mushroom and black garlic, and perfectly pared with red wine,” said Chef Nelly. Travellers can experience the flavourful dish on selected Australian routes from now until 28 February 2020.

Economy Class Meal Add-on

Malaysia Airlines has also introduced a new initiative, ‘Economy Class Meal Add-on’, which will be available on a three-month trial phase and offered on selected routes. ‘Economy Class Meal Add-on’ will give passengers the chance to savour the luxury and enjoyment that was previously reserved for premium Business Class guests.

From now until 31 January 2020, Malaysia Airlines’ award-winning signature entrée dish, Chicken Satay served with authentic spicy peanut sauce, will be introduced in Economy Class on selected routes to complement the existing complimentary meals.

The dish is available for pre-purchase during the online booking process and available for customers travelling on the Kuala Lumpur-Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur-Sydney and Kuala Lumpur-London routes.
