Anguilla now requiring PCR test upon arrival

Anguilla’s entry requirements have changed once again.

In addition to being fully vaccinated for Covid-19, travelers must now take a PCR test (free of charge) upon arrival and remain at their hotel or villa while awaiting test results, which are usually delivered within 12 hours. Earlier regulations had not required the test upon arrival.

The latest regulations, issued July 7, also stipulate that the only four approved vaccines are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.

Anguilla’s earlier entry regulations remain in place: apply through the visitor portal, submit a negative PCR test result three to five days prior to travel, and provide proof of medical insurance.

All travelers to Anguilla connecting through St. Maarten must comply with St. Maarten’s health screening application form. All protocols are listed at Ivisitanguilla.com/escape and at Travel Weekly’s Caribbean reopening page.
