Quintessence Hotel in Anguilla expands with its Quinn Building: Travel Weekly

The luxury Quintessence Hotel, overlooking Long Bay Beach on Anguilla’s northwest coast, unveiled its Quinn Building, a three-suite annex adjacent to the nine-suite hotel, which resembles a private mansion.

Smaller in size than the nine suites at the main hotel, Quinn accommodations feature metal sculpture works by Haitian artist Serge Jolimeau. These works complement the gallery of curated Haitian art that hangs in the main hotel.

Guests staying in the new suites have access to all the amenities of the main hotel, including a secluded beach, the infinity pool, tennis courts, a spa, a wine cellar and Julian’s restaurant, which specializes in French-Caribbean menu selections.

The Quinn features three suite options: Quinn Teal, Quinn Cyan and Quinn Indigo.

Quinn rates start at $350 per suite, per night, double with breakfast, excluding taxes, from April through July in Teal and Cyan and start at $800 for the penthouse Indigo and are higher the rest of the year. The property, a member of Relais & Chateaux and Virtuoso, is closed from August through October.

Quintessence, nicknamed The Tropical Grand Mansion, opened on Jan. 1, 2018 after 10 years of construction.
