BA sale: British Airways offering an extra £300 off holidays now

BA told customers about the sale in an email this afternoon. It urged those who read it to enjoy the extra £300 off holidays and listed its holiday deals.

“The time to plan is now. Book your next holiday today and save up to an additional £300 in our sale,” the email read.

It detailed the sale ad well as holiday protections of customers anxious about booking holidays amid the coronavirus pandemic.

It went on: “Wherever you decide to go, from Dubai to the Caribbean, you can plan your escape with confidence, thanks to our Customer Promise and flexible booking policy.

“What’s more, you can book your ATOL protected holiday including baggage, with a deposit from as little as £60pp.

“Up to £300 off holidays ends midnight 15 April and our sale continues until 22 April.

“Swap your everyday for that well deserved getaway, but don’t delay.”

The email went on to detail a number deals.

They include flights and stays in Dubai and Floria.

Dubai flights + 3 nights hotel from £379 pp

Florida flights + 7 nights hotel from £479 pp

Caribbean flights + 7 nights hotel from £579 pp

Mauritius flights + 7 nights hotel from £799 pp

Spain flights + 7 nights hotel from £199 pp

While many are anxious about travelling at the current time, others can’t wait to jet off.

The Government has implimented a “traffic light system” which will asses the precautions needing to be taken to visit and return from certain countries.

The Government has yet to announce which nations will make it to the “green list”.

However, there are a number of popular holidays locations set to be including in the list.

Portugal and the US are thought to be on the green list.

It is also thought to be likely Dubai will be on the list.

Domestic flight searches are also on the rise.

According to Skyscanner, the top 10 most searched for destinations last week were London, Manchester, Dubai, Tel Aviv, New York, Edinburgh, Bangkok, Belfast, Faro and Orland.
