Secretary of State for Transport, Grant Shapps, has confirmed Britons who have received their COVID-19 vaccine will be allowed to travel to amber list countries for leisure this summer.
From July 19, double-jabbed travellers will be allowed to go on holiday to amber list destinations without having to quarantine for 10 days on return.
Most European countries, including some of the UK’s favourite holiday spots, are on the amber list.
Now holidaymakers can visit destinations such as Spain, Croatia or Greece restriction-free.
However, it should be noted that Britons still have to pay for at least three mandatory COVID-19 tests on their return as well as pre-departure PCR tests.
Since the travel updates were announced, many companies have released a number of exciting deals to amber list destinations.
But what are the best options for this summer holiday?
Greece is one of the most searched destinations as the country is letting Britons in without restrictions.
Holidaymakers only have to present proof of a negative PCR test.
Tui has started advertising its “quarantine-free” holiday with deals to the most popular spots in Greece starting at £239 per person.
Some packages include seven nights in Lassithi Area, Greece, for £246 or four nights at all-inclusive hotels in Corfu for £412.

UK travellers only have to present a negative PCR test or proof of vaccination.
Jet2Holidays is offering a seven-night stay at five-star hotels in Tenerife from £732 per person at the end of August.
Inspiring Travel Company has holiday packages in Andalucia, Spain, from £2,635, including all-inclusive hotel stays.
Currently, Cyprus is letting all Britons in without any restrictions.
