Mr Strutton spoke on television today after the news that pilots are calling for urgent action to help the aviation industry. The head of the BAA claimed the Government is “all over the place” when it comes to its travel traffic light system.

Travel has been a much debated topic on the news in recent weeks as the Government continues to change and update its restrictions on holidays abroad.

Mr Strutton explained this morning he is not impressed with how Boris Johnson’s cabinet has been dealing with the pandemic.

The BAA boss said: “The Government is all over the place.

“They’ve put a country like Portugal on the green list and they take it off.

“The Government seems to be doing the Hokey Cokey on whether people can have summer holidays and visit friends and families abroad.”
