Google Maps Street View is a tool used by citizens all over the world to help navigate their own country as well as destinations further afield. More recently, the tool has been used to spot some strange and bizarre occurrences. The tool is normally used as an online mapping service which is owned by Google.
However, it also offers satellite images, street maps, panoramic views of streets and route planning.
Sometimes the most bizarre scenes found on Google Maps go viral, catapulting the user to fame.
Other scenes spotted by eagle-eyed users on the tool can sometimes go down in history.
This particular image was spotted in a car park in Limehouse, London.
This sight was spotted on Google Maps’ satellite image setting, putting the image into perspective.
From far away, the sighting looks like a labyrinth of streets located in busy London.
However, on closer inspection, it soon becomes clear that something horrific may have happened.
The sighting was spotted on a main road lined with lots of buildings.

If you look closely, it becomes clear there are a few police cars on the road.
The road has plenty of markings on it including two “keep clear” signs and a few bus stops.
Two of them are in the middle of the road while another two are parked on the side of the road.
A police van is flipped over on its side in the middle of the road in what looks like a nasty accident.
Not much more can be seen from the satellite image, but the van seems more or less in tact.
The horrific sighting was spotted on Google Maps by a Reddit user who captioned the image: “A flipped over police van in London.”
The image was immediately inundated with comments from fellow users.
One user said: “Looks more like GTA London.”
Another said: “Let that be a lesson to us all. Keep clear clear means KEEP CLEAR CLEAR.”
Another said: “The van just wanted to get its good side for the photo shoot.”
While one user said: “He’s just takin a nap.”
