Luxury all-inclusive resort company Sandals Resorts International is set to overhaul its Jamaican Sandals South Coast resort in a multi-million renovation effort. Set to debut in December, holidaymakers can expect an opulent new addition which will change the holiday experience forever.

The hotel is to introduce “the world’s first world’s first-ever Swim-up Rondoval Suites”.

Each of the suites will be situated within a 17,040 square feet pool oasis.

The resort’s Dutch Village, which is home to 112 rooms, will also be re-designed with direct access to two new swim-up pools.

Holidaymakers will be able to take a dip in the aqua waters directly from their own private outdoor area.

Simply slide open the doors of your private accommodation and look out to the vast swimming pool beyond.

The Rondoval suite design became a hit at the resort’s locations in Antigua, St Lucia, Grenada and Barbados.

Adding the design to the Jamaican hotel is described by Sandal’s bosses as a “milestone” for the resort.

The 20 Swim-up Rondoval Suites will measure an impressive 22 feet in diameter with 20-foot conical ceilings and will bring guests closer to the water than ever before, featuring private plunge pools with Italian glass-clad fountains.

It will also become home to the “longest pool in the Western Hemisphere” measuring 17,040 square feet.

Each of the luxurious rooms will also be kitted out in custom-made furnishings including a suspended stone vanity in bathrooms, and contemporary lounge furniture for private outdoor decks.

Couples can opt for a further hint of luxury with a new personal butler service, on hand to tend to their every need for the entire stay.

“Sandals South Coast is one of the most beautiful destinations in the uncharted land of Jamaica,” stated Gordon “Butch” Stewart, Chairman of Sandals Resorts.

“Our goal is to exceed expectations time and time again, and the new Sandals South Coast will do that and more.

“The resort which is nestled within a lush 500-acre nature preserve, along crystal blue waters was our inspiration for this incredibly expansive project.

“We can’t wait for our guests to experience these new, luxurious innovations,” Stewart continued.

Prices start from £2,015 per person, based on seven nights in a Dutch Beachfront Luxury Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub.

The cost includes return economy flights with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow and resort transfers.

Meanwhile, for seven nights in a Rondoval Swim-Up Butler Suite with Private Pool Sanctuary starts from £3,399 per person.

Prices include the addition of the butler elite service, return economy flights with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow and resort transfers.
