Have you ever had a night down the local boozer where the craic has been so good that you don't want the landlord to call last orders?

Well, now you don't have to drink up and go home because you can rent your very own pub where you and your mates can enjoy what one reviewer called the ultimate "permanent lock-in."

At former Peak District pub The Poachers Arms, in Hope near Castleton, there's a fully functional bar that'll enable you to carry on pulling your own pints well into the night.

You can even pre-order kegs of whichever beer or cider tickles your taste buds.

Alternatively, punters can hire out pub staff to serve them throughout their evenings if they'd rather kick back and relax.

Some have already taken to TripAdvisor to rave about their experiences there, with one reviewer remarking: "It's a strange feeling of being somewhere familiar – it's a pub with all the features of a pub, but then it feels like a permanent lock-in."

Meanwhile, another happy customer added: "Our week here was absolutely amazing and we didn’t want to go home at all.

"The kitchen was big and had excellent facilities, we had a big roast dinner on Sunday which we ate in the huge conservatory.

"The hot tub was used all week by all of us, not sure if it was the kids or adults that enjoyed it the most!

"The teenagers enjoyed the pool table and football table and also the outdoor table tennis got used a lot as the weather was amazing."

The venue also has nine en-suite double bedrooms which you can stay in.

Able to accommodate up to 30 at a time, the cost breaks down to roughly £23 per person each night – provided you can rustle up enough people to fill the place for a week.

However, because this place is hugely popular you might find that there's only few nights here and there still available to book, with prices dropping by almost half come November and December.

In addition, the place comes with its own off road parking, garden and patio while there are also plenty of facilities to keep everyone entertained, including a hot tub, dance floor and kids’ play area.

Punters can also kick-back in the venue’s games room, which has table football and video game consoles.
