UK holidays have seen a surge in bookings throughout the summer months amid ever-changing international travel restrictions. In a bid to accommodate even more hopeful holidaymakers, Haven has announced plans to extend its season right through until November for some of its parks.

Though the family caravan staycation provider usually closes its parks at the end of October half term, this year it is set to remain open for an extra two weeks at select locations.

This includes the likes of Dorset and Devon which have both been sought after holiday hotspots this year.

The 11 parks remaining open until November 15 include Berwick, Caister-on-Sea, Combe Haven, Devon Cliffs, Golden Sands, Hafan y More, Kiln Park, Marton Mere, Primrose Valley, Seton Sands and Weymouth Bay.

Though demand has seen holiday prices at various accommodation across the UK surge, the good news is Haven’s extended opening dates also bring with them some impressive deals.

Some four-night breaks in October and November start at £69 per family.

The new dates also cover both Stay only packages, as well as Stay and Play packages which see include extras such as indoor swimming, outdoor activities and family entertainment.

It comes after a successful uptick in demand for Haven after being forced to close their doors during the lockdowns.

Gerard Tempest, director of guest and proposition at Haven, said: “It’s our pleasure to extend our holiday season this year.

“We feel it’s important to give holidaymakers a chance to get away from their homes, which for some, has also been their office, and have the chance to relax and have fun with their families.

“With the huge demand we’ve had this year, we wanted to do everything we could to ensure all our guests would get a chance to stay at one of the parks this year.”

In order to instil confidence in customers, all new booking made will be covered by Havens “Promise Guarantee”.

According to the UK holiday giant, this includes “no quibble refunds, booking flexibility, and super high cleaning standards.”

As part of the promise, customers are covered if Haven is unable to offer the “full experience” booked.

This includes if activities, entertainment or facilities are forced to close.

Similarly, if the UK Government restricts travel, or if Haven has to close its site, customers are guaranteed under the policy.

The Haven Promise also protects customers who are unable to travel or simply no longer feel safe embarking on their holiday.

The brand also has a “price promise” which they say means “if you see your holiday at a lower price later on, we’ll give you the difference back.”

Reservation fees also start at just £30, with the option to pay the full amount in instalments.

Haven has already been recognised for this robust policy which was enhanced during the pandemic.

The holiday provider was ranked “third best travel company” by Money Saving Expert for “overall experience” in its Covid refunds survey.
