Expedia Group (No. 1 on Travel Weekly’s 2021 Power List) plans to unify its Expedia, Vrbo, Hotels.com, Travelocity and Orbitz loyalty programs under a single rewards platform.
A most unusual year leads to a most unusual Power List.
The consolidated program will be free to join and will continue to offer pricing discounts and the ability to earn and redeem rewards across all Expedia Group brands.
The program will span flights, hotels, vacation rentals, car rentals, cruises and activities.
According to Expedia Brands president Jon Gieselman, existing rewards members won’t need to take any action to participate. He said their current rewards “will be even more valuable” following the transition.
