Pleasant Holidays has partnered with AAA Hawaii to donate $75,000 to the American Red Cross to help with recovery efforts on Maui in the wake of deadly wildfires last week.
The vacation wholesaler said it’s been working with its travel advisors to assist clients who are currently on Maui or those who were evacuated and repositioned to other islands last week.

Pleasant is also working to find new accommodations for those scheduled to travel to Maui this month. Travel to other islands in Hawaii has not been impacted, the company said.
Maui is Pleasant Holidays’ and sister brand Journese’s biggest destination in Hawaii in terms of sales and number of visitors. The company had over 400 guests on the island when the wildfires broke out last week, including in the town of Lahaina, where the devastation has been the most severe.
