Six Senses plants first flag in Spain

Six Senses Ibiza, billed as the first sustainable BREEAM-certified resort and residential community in the Balearics, opened July 10.

Conceived by architect and developer Jonathan Leitersdorf, the year-round property is Six Senses’ first venture in Spain.

The 116-room Six Senses Ibiza is situated on a 20-acre site in Xarraca Bay on the island’s northern tip.

Accommodations include Cave Suites built into the coastal cliffs and stand-alone private residences available for rent or sale.

Organic eats and biohacking wellness

Amenities include the Farmer’s Market and four organic restaurants overseen by chef Eyal Shani.

Entertainment highlights include a Live Cave and Recording Studio; Sonus faber, a cinema and open-air stage; and Agora, part store and part entertainment and education center.

Wellness treatments and customized immersions are available at the Six Senses Spa, and the RoseBar offers a menu of biohacking wellness techniques.
