One Devon village has been singled out as one of the prettiest in the UK. Believed to be the longest village in the country, Britons who want to visit can explore the countryside and the coastline from one location.

Branscombe has been named one of the prettiest villages in the UK by Daffodil Hotel.

The Jurassic Coastline village is ideally located between Seatoun and Sidmouth.

The East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lies at its doorstep and the South West Coast Path can be followed from both directions out of Branscombe.

The long streets of Branscombe go down the valley to the coast, with historic buildings aplenty.
