Attention, parents: Zooey Deschanel’s travel hack might make going on vacations with your little ones a bit easier.

The former “New Girl” star, a mother of two, recommends parents rent items like toys and books in addition to products like strollers and cribs.

“With kids, you have to carry so much stuff, and I am obsessed with trying to lighten the load when it comes to traveling with kids,” Deschanel told HuffPost. “I think the best thing that I’ve discovered −  and it doesn’t work everywhere you go − but when you go to a place, renting things really helps.”

The star talked with HuffPost while promoting her purposeful travel partnership with Capital One called “Purpose Project,” which has a Facebook Watch series.
