Qatar Airways to boost summer schedule to UK & Ireland

Qatar Airways will increase its flight frequency from the UK & Ireland to the Middle East by 17 flights per week ahead of the crucial summer season.

The changes mean the carrier will offer the biggest ever number of connections between the UK & Ireland and Doha this year.

Under the plans, flights from Cardiff will go daily from May 30th, while Manchester will welcome three flights per day from June 14th.

London Gatwick will also welcome three flights per day from June 29th, Edinburgh will have ten flights per week from July 1st and Dublin twill have 11 flights per week from July 1st.

Qatar Airways senior vice president, Europe, Sylvain Bosc, said: “We have been exceptionally pleased by the level of demand for our service to and from our UK and Ireland destinations.

“We look forward to welcoming even more passengers aboard in the coming months and taking them to enjoy holidays and business trips in unrivalled comfort.”

These additional flights mean that Qatar Airways will operate 119 flights per week out of the UK & Ireland – or up to 18 flights per day – by July 2019.

Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport to more than 160 destinations worldwide.
