You’ll be able to explore the behind-the-scenes making of the films with Host Russell Alexander if you bag a spot on the holiday.
He’s inviting guests to his property where they can enjoy a stay in The Shire made famous by The Hobbit as well as Lord of the Rings.
Hobbiton is set in New Zealands Waikato region on a 2,500 acre working farm, the property’s rolling, green hills will be reminiscent of the Shire – both as told by J.R.R Tolkien and as spotted by Peter Jackson’s film scouts 20 years ago.
Alexander will host three individual two-night stays for up to four guests at $10 NZD (£5.10) a night.
The absolute bargain is available in thanks to Airbnb.
You’ll be able to access 44 Hobbit Holes, The Millhouse, The Green Dragon Inn and other well known locations from the film.
Major fans can finally live out their fantasy and delve into Middle-earth for the weekend.
Your stay will include cosy overnight accommodation curated by the trilogies’ Creative Director Brian Massey, including a writing nook fit for Bilbo Baggins at The Millhouse.
There’s also private access to a Hobbit Hole for downtime and afternoon tea.
Plus, enjoy an evening banquet in The Great Dragon where you’ll sup on beef and ale stew, whole roast chickens, fresh bread, lots of ale and more – as the Hobbits would have wanted.
Oh, and don’t worry you’ll get Second Breakfast and Elevenses every day.
Finally, a private tour of the Hobbiton set will mean you know more about the films than ever before.
In terms of rules, no parties are allowed (unless Gandalf is around).
Pets are also not permitted, but magical rings are – if kept secret – and you shouldn’t stray far at night in the property.
“For more than two decades, we’ve welcomed millions of passionate fans to Hobbiton Movie Set, but never before has anyone had the opportunity to spend a night in Middle-earth,” Host Russell Alexander said.
“I am delighted to share the beauty of my family’s farm and pleased to be hosting this iconic location on Airbnb for fans from around the world.”
