One Ocean Resort & Spa names new culinary leadership
Named the No. 6 resort in Fla. by Condé Nast Traveler readers, One Ocean Resort & Spa proudly welcomes Zach Drawdy as executive chef to lead the resort’s culinary operations. Bringing diverse training and over 12 years of culinary experience with an extensive background in the luxury hotel industry, Drawdy oversees menu development and drives the enhancement of the food culture at One Ocean Resort & Spa.

As sous chef on the One Ocean Resort & Spa opening team in 2008, Drawdy returns to the resort with more than ten years of notable culinary experience. Most recently overseeing culinary efforts at Mauna Kea Beach Resort Autograph Collection in Waimea, Hawaii as executive sous chef, Drawdy was responsible for banquets operations and six food and beverage outlets. In years prior, Drawdy was the sous chef at Fairmont Orchid in Hawaii and the chef de garde manager at the Cloister at Sea Island, Ga., a five-diamond luxury high volume facility.
On his return to One Ocean Resort & Spa, Drawdy said, “This is an exciting transition for me. To see where Azurea has progressed since opening is incredible and I’m committed to continuing on the path of excellence with the impressive team here.”
